Helicopter Introductory Flight Lesson in San Antonio
$250 · The best way to know if helicopter flying is for you. Hands-on, no experience required.
What It Is
A Real Lesson — In a Real Helicopter
An Introductory Flight Lesson is the introductory lesson every helicopter pilot remembers. You'll meet your Flight Instructor, learn the basics on the ground, climb into a Robinson or Bell helicopter, and — once we're safely airborne — actually fly the helicopter yourself.
$250 per person. We've used Introductory Flight Lessons for 30 years as the honest first step into our flight school. Most people decide whether they want to pursue a certificate on the way back to the hangar.
What to Expect
Your First Flight, Minute by Minute
30–45 Minutes Total
Pre-flight briefing, ~25 minutes airborne, post-flight debrief and questions.
You Fly the Controls
After we level off in a safe area, the Flight Instructor hands you the cyclic and collective. Most people are flying within 5 minutes.
Hill Country Scenery
We launch from our hangar in Bulverde and fly over the rolling Texas Hill Country — gorgeous in any season.
Counts Toward Your Certificate
If you decide to pursue training, this flight time logs toward your Private Pilot Certificate — no wasted hours.
