Certified Flight Instructor (Commercial Pilot Certificate) Helicopter
Build hours, teach what you've learned, and launch your career.
Why Commercial Pilot Certificate
The Most Common First Helicopter Job
For most career-track helicopter pilots, instructing is the bridge between your Commercial certificate and the 1,000-hour mark that unlocks Part 135 charter, EMS, and turbine PIC opportunities. It's also where your knowledge gets bulletproof — you don't truly understand a maneuver until you've taught it.
Helicopter Experts has been hiring its own CFI graduates for 30 years. If we have an opening when you finish, you'll already know the syllabus, the airframes, the airspace, and the standards. Many of our current and past instructors trained here from zero.
